It’s tempting to try to just lay your harmonica all the way down into the slot…
not recommended.

I have designed the Harp Wah to have the player just “suspend” the harp over the slot – between
thumb and index finger – holding the harp exactly as you normally would.

 

You can also slightly tilt the Harp Wah back towards your palm to aid in getting a decent seal.
